Known for her powerhouse vocals, impressive range and energetic and emotional performances, Shoshana Bean’s independent solo releases have topped the iTunes R&B and Blues charts in the US and UK in peak positions 5, 3 and now #1 with the release of her latest EP Shadows to Light.
Her latest project, “Shadows to Light” features brand new originals, an acoustic version of her most recent single “Runaway Train” and a chart-topping cover of Sia’s “Chandelier”.
Shoshana is a veteran of the Broadway stage having debuted in the original cast of Hairspray and starring as the very first replacement for Elphaba, the green-skinned witch, in Wicked.
Shoshsana will be teaching a series of Master Classes focusing on audition technique and storytelling through song. Aspiring musical theater performers will work on their chosen material for audition and performance purposes. Through one on one coaching, Shoshana will aim to personalize each song to the performer, guiding them through exercises that will help to make the song uniquely their own. This process brings out their individual strengths, aids them in connecting emotionally to the piece in a powerful way, and creates a moving experience for the audience both in a show or audition setting.
Additionally, Shoshana Bean will share proper audition technique, give tips on vocal health, technique and style and share personal professional experience in a Q&A.
